GI Plastek recently completed a major expansion project increasing the plant size from 54,000 square feet to 91,000 square feet. Beyond new floor space for growth, the expansion will add new offices, high-ceiling storage and additional shipping bays. Most importantly it consolidated off-site operations and allowed the Company to optimize its production process.

“We are very excited about our new space. The construction has enabled us to streamline our work flow from raw materials to finished product. This allows us to be more responsive to customer needs and increases our capacity to bring on new business.” said GI Plastek President Daniel Mills. “We invite our current and prospective customers to visit us and see first-hand what we offer.”

“We’re thrilled to have assisted GI Plastek in arranging the nearly $4 million of financing required to complete this project,” said John Lenahan, a Partner at Wincove Capital. “The new facility positions the Company to continue growing and contributing to the Wolfeboro community.”

A formal ribbon cutting ceremony was held September 10th. In addition to management and employees, attendees included numerous customers, suppliers and elected officials.
